Falling

Remember when you were a kid and you climbed up a tree or rode your bike and you fell down? I remember those times being so adamant about getting back up and trying again. Sometimes I wonder where that persistence went. Why is it harder when we get older to take a risk where we might fall and if we do just get right back up?

Several weeks ago I had a dream, that I walked into the a large room of a building, filled with many people, and fell on my face. Oh wait...that wasn't a dream, it really happened! It was embarrassing to say the least, but it really made me think about falling. I was in the car driving a while ago and this song came on that really summed up what I was thinking about.
