Nothing...until luck happened today.
Apparently it was one of my "lucky days" on the fortune cookie...which I never received by the way!
Today after school I had a class that I had to go to. During this class we took a quiz, and if we got a certain score it was put into a drawing for a gift certificate to the mall. I didn't assume that anything would happen, and then the very last name called was mine. Random...actually lucky by definition fits what happened better than random. One of the definitions of luck is:
To gain success or something desirable by chance
This was definitely by chance. So..."as luck would have it," I guess I will be going shopping in the near future!
