1. Plan where you are going and the date you are going
2. Approve the field trip with the principal
3. Get the buses
4. Make a permission slip and send it home
5. Make sure all of the permission slips come back
6. Put students in groups with parent helpers
7. Have everyone go to the restroom BEFORE getting on the bus
8. Arrive at the destination
9. Enjoy the activities
10. Hold a tarantula and let it crawl up your arm
11. Make sure all of the students get back on the bus
12. Arrive back at school
Wait...did you say that step 10 was to hold a tarantula?
Yep...well, I guess that isn't a NECESSARY step, but that is what I did this field trip that we went on. It was actually pretty cool.

Never in ONE MILLION YEARS will something like that crawl up my arm. It gives me the hee-bee gee-bees just looking at you doing it. CRAZY!!
Glad you didn't miss step number 11; that one is important.
Not in a million years.
That is so cool!!! They wouldn't let us hold the tarantula on the field trip we took to the nature center this last fall.. bummer..
